Shop apps for retailers

Your shop, in your customers’ pocket.

A native iOS and Android app for retailers with a physical store and an online shop. Your website is rebuilt as its backend: one catalogue, one customer and one loyalty card for web, app and till.

Price by enquiry, after you have held the prototype.

Sound familiar?

A shop that works, and still loses to the big apps.

  • “The big apps are smoother than our shop.”
  • “Our loyalty card and our online shop don’t know each other.”
  • “We have great brands, but the site shows them as a filter.”
  • “I don’t want to pay for an app and then pay again when the website changes.”

For companies in Split

The City of Split’s digital-solutions grant can cover part of this.

Companies from Split can apply to the City’s 2026 call for small-business support, under the measure for introducing digital solutions. The limit is €7,000 per applicant, or €10,000 for a business unit in the Old Town. Eligible costs must fall in 2026.

The current call closes on 5 October 2026 at 23:59.

  1. 01 You apply. I prepare the quote and the technical description for your application.
  2. 02 I tell you honestly which parts are eligible. Advertising is not, so the video-ads module stays outside the grant.
  3. 03 The City scores and approves applications. Nothing here guarantees approval.

The offer

Three layers, one system.

01

Native shop app

iOS and Android: shopping, a loyalty club, and drops, lookbooks, short video and push notifications.

02

Your website as its backend

The site is rebuilt so web, app and till share one catalogue, one customer and one loyalty ledger.

03

Optional: catalogue video ads

Short video ads made automatically from your product catalogue. A separate module.

What makes it different

Built around your brands, your customers and your store.

Brands as worlds, not filters

Each key brand gets its own world in the app: its story, its categories, what is new.

It knows the customer

It remembers size per brand. One club card works online and at the till, and can live in Apple Wallet.

A hand-made feel

Motion, haptics and type get the care of a single-brand app: smooth product transitions, crisp price and size typography, native sheets.

How it works

Prototype first, before you sign anything.

  1. Prototype on your catalogue

A clickable native app on your phone, built from a snapshot of your public catalogue. It runs offline, touches nothing in your live shop and is labelled as a demo.

  2. You hold it and decide

An eight-minute walkthrough: your brands and size, a brand world, a product with your size preselected and “reserve in store”, a drop, the club card scanned at the till, checkout.

  3. A written contract for the data

The app talks to a written API contract. That contract becomes the acceptance test for your new website, whoever builds it. You are never locked in.

  4. Launch in stages

The app runs on sample data, the website implements the contract, the app switches to live data without a rewrite, then loyalty and marketing go on.

What you receive

Everything under your own accounts.

  • iOS and Android apps in the stores, under your shop’s own developer account
  • A loyalty club: member card with QR code and Apple Wallet, points and rewards, a staff scan mode for the till
  • Drops, lookbooks, short video and push notifications
  • Two languages from day one, for example Croatian and English
  • The API contract document, and the website that implements it if I build the site too
  • Consent, account deletion and store privacy labels handled for GDPR and App Store rules

Guardrails

What I promise before we start.

  • The prototype never touches your live shop and never asks for a password.
  • No invented prices, stock or reviews, not even in a demo. Prices appear as a dated snapshot.
  • You decide what goes in the app: brands, products and wording.
  • You own the contract, the store accounts and the data.

Questions

Before you ask for a prototype.

Do I need a new website first?

No. The app starts on a snapshot of your catalogue; the website is built to the same contract afterwards.

What if another agency builds the website?

They build to the written contract, and the app keeps working.

Is it iPhone only?

The prototype is iPhone first. The finished app ships on iOS and Android.

How long does it take?

It depends on the catalogue and the integrations. Every project gets a written estimate after the prototype.

What does it cost?

Price is by enquiry and depends on scope. You get a written quote after you have held the prototype.

See your own shop as an app.

Useful to include: your shop’s web address, how many stores you have, the platform you use now, your main brands and whether you run a loyalty card.
